Day in Moab

Went out to Moab, Utah with Jacob Ruff and the FOAD duded Evan Service, Jackson Bradshaw, and Parker Thompson this week. Riding these sand stones are gnarly, but on a fixed gear its actually insane. It was about 110 degrees for most of the day with a few random downpours out of nowhere that brought the humidity to instant dripping levels. We rode a few miles in taking shade breaks in the caves carved into the side of the hills. Im pretty sure our tires were melting as we skidded down some of the rock trails. Definitely visit if your passing by, but I suggest NOT during summer.

Matt Spencer | Half Dome

Was pretty stoked riding my first half dome in Fresno at the Mosqueda BMX Park a few months ago. It is really hard to tell but the dome is 19 feet tall and is the largest one in the country. I was pedaling full blast to just stick around this thing and it put some series g-forces on my legs peaking around the top.

Joe McKeag | Overpass
I shot this photo of Joe at one of the crazier spots we filmed at for Stay Strapped DVD. Had to hop a fence and walk down a steep bushy hill right to the edge of the freeway where we climbed up the bridge. If you happen to fall off it would be about a 60 foot splat right on to the freeway, so it sure seemed like a skinny run up when you were up there. Also you had to hit this little piece of deteriorating wood just to launch off the transition. As the cars were honking at us we banged out his clip and got out of there before the cops busted us.
